Richard Read
Richardβs professional journey traces back to his early experiences in finance roles spanning Australia and the UK. His career reached a significant milestone when he assumed leadership of the risk & compliance management team at Macquarie Group, Macquarie Agricultural Funds Management from 2010 - 2015.
Navigating through roles in both large national corporations and small businesses, Richard has cultivated a diverse background. His influence extends beyond the boardroom as he has been a pivotal member of two prominent safety committees on the eastern seaboard.
As a seasoned risk management professional specialising in Agricultural work health & safety (WHS), audits, policies and procedures, insurance, sustainability, and animal welfare, Richard brings over 10 years of extensive risk consulting experience to the table. Richard specialises in farm audits and pre and post acquisition audits focusing on highlighting issues before exchange of contracts. In the last 2 years, he successfully managed his previous company, Read Consulting Group, overseeing operations across Agriculture, Commercial businesses, and the healthcare sectors.

Tania Stone
Taniaβs expertise is strongly embedded in her experience managing hands-on operational and work health and safety (WHS) roles in the horticultural sector, spanning nut orchards and vineyards. Her valuable experience comes from actively supporting businesses through both the developmental and operational phases, and includes contributions to companies such as Agri Australia, Olam Orchards and Casella Wines.
Within our team, Tania collaborates closely with clients to facilitate the seamless integration of straightforward and pragmatic risk management processes. Her unique approach involves coaching individuals to comprehend the intrinsic importance of safety, driving improvements in processes to safeguard both individuals and businesses alike.
In her capacity as a seasoned risk management professional, Tania specialises in Agricultural work health and safety (WHS), policies and procedures, incident investigations, and online management systems. With a decade-long track record in risk management, Tania spent the last four years at the helm of her previous company, TLS Safety Solutions. During this time, she successfully managed operations spanning agriculture/horticulture, food manufacturing, and the heavy vehicle industries. Notably, she is currently enriching her knowledge further by pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Psychology.

Jean Robins
Born and raised on a cattle property in Queenslandβs Gulf country, Jeanβs passion for agricultural safety runs deep. With over two decades of hands on experience spanning agriculture, aviation, earthmoving, and road transport, Jean has cultivated a unique skillset characterised by adaptability, problem solving, and a comprehensive grasp of risk management.
Like all of us at CRM, Jeanβs approach to safety is holistic, and she is well versed at identifying and mitigating risks at all business levels including safety, financial and operational. Academically inclined, Jean holds formal qualifications in safety, most recently completing her Bachelorβs in Occupational Health and Safety (2021), graduating with the highest GPA in her cohort. She actively pursues professional development through courses and workshops, particularly in areas like psychological safety and adult learning.
Passionate about clear communication, Jean champions user focused documentation and practices. As an experienced technical writer, Jean utilises the skills learnt from a Masterclass in Usability Mapping when developing policies and procedures.
Collaborating closely with clients, Jean uses her experience to craft and implement customised safety systems that not only meet the clientβs specific needs, but also cultivate a robust safety culture. A passionate safety advocate, proactive problem solver, and a dedicated learner, Jean stands as an invaluable asset within CRMβs team of experienced consultants.
